List of HBCU's
PURPOSE: In February 2008, Knoxville Ebony Network decided to conclude 6 years of community service and social networking in the Knoxville Community by having their farewell signature Blackout Social Event. The proceeds were given to Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in Knoxville, TN and NMP Information Services for the Jackie R. Moore Annual Memorial Scholarship. Because of the gracious gesture, NMP decided to create a second scholarship in their honor and call it the Knoxville Ebony Network HBCU Scholarship which will continue their legacy. HBCU's are a true love for KEN founder Spencer Rollins who attended Lane College and TN State University. Other KEN members also attended HBCU’s.
MISSION: To provide a financial reward to a deserving East Tennessee graduation senior who plans to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) and meets the requirements. $500
